Although both Syros and Milos islands in the Cyclades of Greece have airports, the only way you can travel between the two is by ferry.
Somewhat surprisingly though, there are only four ferries per week sailing from Syros to Milos. This is a year round ferry route, so you can also cross during the off season.
Even during the high season, when you would expect additional crossings to be added to the ferry schedules on the Syros Milos route, it stays at 4 a week.
You'd think there would be more, given the importance of Syros and the popularity of Milos.
