If you're looking for a beautiful and secluded Greek island to relax on after spending time in Ios, Serifos is the perfect destination. Located in the Cyclades group of islands, Serifos is a small and peaceful island with stunningly clear water and lovely beaches.
As there isn't an airport in Serifos, the only way to make a journey from Ios to Serifos is by taking a ferry.
Zante Ferries have run the direct Ios to Serifos crossing in recent seasons, and the snapshot above shows who is sailing it at the moment.

Rather confusingly for some people, one of the companies that has sailed between Ios and Serifos is Zante Ferries. (The confusing part is that this company doesn't sail anywhere near Zante!).
They have run a slower conventional ferry between the Cyclades islands called the DIONISIOS SOLOMOS. While the ferry may stop at some other islands in the way depending on its itinerary, you won't need to change ferries as it will take you directly from Ios to Serifos.
How often this boat sails, and how long it takes, has varied from season to season, so check the current schedule before you plan around it.
