Amorgos island in Greece
The Greek island of Amorgos is unusual in the Cyclades, in that it has two active ferry ports. These ports are Aegiali and Katapola, and are positioned more or less at opposite ends of Amorgos.
You can take ferries from Naxos to Amorgos to both ferry ports every day of the week during the summer season.
In my opinion, the easiest port in Amorgos to plan to arrive at is Katapola, as there are two daily ferries arriving here from Naxos seven days a week, with an additional two weekly ferries at seemingly random intervals.
The port at Aegiali only receives ferries from Naxos every other day, and the quickest crossing arrives at an awkward time in the early hours of the morning.
