Iraklia Island (Cyclades Greece)
Iraklia is one of the 'Small Cyclades' islands located south east of Paros, and just underneath the neighbouring island of Naxos.
If you're look for a quiet Greek island getaway after spending time in Paros, Iraklia is an excellent choice!
This is because Paros and Iraklia are very different in nature. Where Paros can seem to have an overwhelming amount of tourists in the peak months of July and August, Iraklia is very sleepy by comparison.
This is perhaps hardly surprising, given that the population of Iraklia is just 141 inhabitants!
In fact, I liked Iraklia so much, I wrote a guidebook to it which is now available on Amazon: Iraklia and Schinoussa in Greece
