Cycling to Puerta Escondido

An 80 km day, which is just an average one, but at the end of it I felt exhausted. The humidity is something I am finding hard to adjust to, although I think that today's tiredness came from mainly messing my eating patterns up.
I've noticed that I've been eating a lot less than normal this last couple of weeks due to the heat, but I should still eat something every hour when cycling, otherwise I hit the wall!
On reaching Puerto Escondido, I had a look around the old town for accommodation options. Nothing stood out however, and so I headed down to Playa Zicatela to see if I could find anything there.
Playa Zicatela is a strange mix of purpose designed and laid out beachfront, combined with a surfer feel and backpacker hostels.
I found a hostel type place, which cost me 100 pesos for the night in a simple thatched cabana. Job done, and I decided to eat constantly for the afternoon and evening!
