How to get from Syros to Kimolos
If you want to travel to Kimolos island in Greece after Syros, you have two options. The first is to take a direct ferry, and the second is to take an indirect ferry via another island.
The simplest way is to take a direct ferry, and Blue Star Ferries have provided these in recent summer seasons.
Their travel times do vary though, depending on which day of the week they sail. This is because the route from Syros to Kimolos varies, and on some days includes stops at more additional islands than on other days.
The quicker boat from Syros going to Kimolos takes around 4 and a half hours. The slow ferry sailing to Kimolos from Syros island takes around 8 hours and 10 minutes.
Normally, quicker Greek ferries have more expensive tickets, but on this route from Syros to Kimolos you might expect the ticket prices to be about the same. Ticket prices start from around 12 Euros. In the summer, they may be slightly more expensive.
